I spent 30 years working for multinational companies including long spells in marketing, M&A and seven years as a FTSE 50 Board Director responsible for building an international business. I have extensive NED experience in the investment trust, gaming, vending and wholesale distribution areas as well as having served as a charity trustee for five years. In my last multinational role, I was responsible for a business delivering €250 million EBITDA and a team of 4,000 people.

I semi-retired over ten years ago to devote my time to helping start-ups succeed. I run a successful mentoring, coaching and consulting business for early stage businesses and have recently partnered with ABP who have an award-winning approach to helping businesses grow. I work with small companies and individuals to develop their business plans and improve performance across a range of businesses. I have several angel investments and sit on the Board of two of them to help them grow. I combine this commercial work with pro bono support for the Prince’s Trust (and previously Start Up Direct), chairing business launch panels and awarding loans to young people.

I have never lost my wanderlust and enjoy travelling extensively and particularly on safaris!
